School Van Driver

About the role

The School Van Driver will safely transport students to and from CS Academy campuses in Coimbatore, ensuring punctuality, discipline, and a respectful environment throughout each trip.

Key responsibilities

• Drive the school van along assigned routes, picking up and dropping off students on time.
• Conduct daily pre‑trip and post‑trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform basic maintenance tasks.
• Keep accurate attendance records and trip logs for each journey.
• Enforce safety rules, ensure seat‑belt usage where applicable, and assist children, including those with special needs, during boarding and alighting.
• Collaborate with school authorities, parents, and other drivers, and attend required training sessions.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence appropriate for a passenger van.
• Strong knowledge of traffic and safety regulations.
• Ability to maintain vehicle condition and report issues promptly.
• Commitment to punctuality, discipline, and a safe environment for children.
• Willingness to assist students with special needs during travel.
