SAP TM Functional Consultant – Yard Management (Hyderabad)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SAP Transportation Management (TM) Functional Consultant to lead the design and configuration of Yard Management solutions tightly integrated with TM. The role will be based in Hyderabad and involves bridging business stakeholders with technical teams to deliver end‑to‑end logistics functionality.

Key responsibilities

• Design and configure SAP TM and Yard Management processes, ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Drive cross‑functional collaboration among TM, EWM, Manufacturing, Core Systems and business teams.
• Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Support User Acceptance Testing, functional testing and post‑go‑live hypercare.
• Promote standardisation and reuse of SAP standard functionalities across the global landscape.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in SAP software implementation, including at least one full‑cycle SAP TM project.
• Proven experience with S/4HANA TM and SAP R/3 to S/4HANA migration projects.
• Background in the chemical industry logistics, especially bulk and hazardous material transport.
• Strong understanding of end‑to‑end transportation and logistics processes.

Required skills

• Functional expertise in SAP TM, MM, EWM, SD, FI/CO.
• ABAP and object‑oriented ABAP development.
• API/event‑driven integration using Kafka, SAP API Management and SAP Integration Suite (CPI).
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA migration tools (SUM, SPDD/SPAU) and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).
