Receptionist – Eye Hospital (Bengaluru)

About the role

We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to be the first point of contact for patients at our eye hospital in Bengaluru. The role involves managing patient flow, handling appointments, and supporting the clinical teams to ensure a smooth and pleasant experience for every visitor.

Key responsibilities

• Assist patients with registration, check‑in, and guide them through consultation, diagnostic and surgery workflows.
• Schedule, confirm, reschedule and manage follow‑up appointments, coordinating doctor schedules and patient flow.
• Answer incoming calls, provide accurate information about services, timings and procedures, and address patient inquiries courteously.
• Collect consultation and procedure payments, generate receipts and maintain transaction records.
• Maintain and update patient records in the hospital management system, ensuring data accuracy.

Required profile

• Graduate or Diploma holder in any discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience as a receptionist, front‑desk associate or in a customer‑service role, preferably within a hospital, clinic or diagnostic centre.
• Excellent communication skills in Kannada and English with a pleasant, professional demeanor.
• Strong organisational ability and the capacity to multitask in a busy environment.

Required skills

• Basic computer proficiency, specifically MS Office.
