R&D Manager – Product Development

About the role

AVEVA is seeking an experienced R&D Manager to lead a product development team in Bangalore. You will be responsible for guiding the team’s skill growth, ensuring high standards, and delivering on product commitments within a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure smooth execution of team deliverables, coordinating with multiple team leads and product management.
• Conduct regular one‑on‑one coaching sessions to support career aspirations and provide challenging opportunities.
• Assess staffing needs, define job levels, and lead recruitment efforts.
• Set and track team performance, skill‑growth, and organizational goals.

Required profile

• Demonstrated leadership in achieving collective goals and making a lasting positive impact on team members.
• Significant contributions across all phases of the software lifecycle, from inception to delivery.
• Ability to identify and remediate areas for improvement in software execution and individual performance.
• Strong decision‑making, time‑management, and collaboration skills in a fast‑paced environment.
