Quality Assurance Executive

About the role

The Quality Assurance Executive will ensure that all pharmaceutical products are stored, handled, and distributed in strict compliance with regulatory standards. This role works closely with warehouse, logistics, sales, and regulatory teams to maintain product integrity and support audit readiness.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with the Drugs & Cosmetics Act, related rules, and applicable regulatory guidelines.
• Maintain and implement SOPs for storage, handling, distribution, and documentation of pharmaceutical products, including temperature‑sensitive items.
• Manage QA documentation such as temperature & humidity logs, complaint, recall, supplier qualification, training, and CAPA records.
• Monitor inbound and outbound product movement, segregate expired, damaged, rejected, or recalled items, and coordinate recall activities.
• Evaluate and approve vendors/suppliers, maintaining qualification records.
• Assist during regulatory inspections and internal audits, ensuring effective implementation of corrective and preventive actions.

Required profile

• Bachelor or Master in Pharmacy (preferred).
• Registered with the Pharmacy Council of India.
• GDP training certificate from a recognized institute.
• 2–4 years of experience in QA/QC/GDP compliance within pharmaceutical trading, distribution, or manufacturing.

Required skills

• Knowledge of pharmaceutical regulatory requirements (CDSCO, State FDA).
• Good Documentation Practices (GDP) and SOP implementation.
• Understanding of storage and distribution compliance, including temperature control.
• Computer proficiency with MS Office and ERP systems.
