Production Supervisor - M/F/D

About the role

Valeo is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead a manufacturing area, ensuring smooth operations, high quality, safety, and continuous improvement. You will be responsible for people management, training, and production performance in a fast‑paced, high‑technology environment.

Key responsibilities

• Induct new employees, schedule training, and develop multi‑skill plans.
• Monitor absenteeism, holidays, safety compliance, and environmental risk.
• Validate operator working time, enforce standard breaks, and manage escalation procedures.
• Conduct monthly performance meetings, annual appraisals, salary reviews, and career interviews.
• Maintain and update working instructions, ensure 5S, SQCDM, and TPM standards are applied.
• Detect abnormalities, perform first‑level preventive maintenance, and run equipment performance checks.
• Propose weekly headcount and organization plans, and ensure production meets SQCDM and inventory targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience supervising a production team in an industrial setting.
• Strong knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental regulations.
• Ability to lead continuous‑improvement initiatives and manage personnel engagement.

• 5S methodology
• SQCDM (Safety, Quality, Cost, Delivery, Morale)
• QRQC (Quick Response Quality Control)
• Lean tools such as Muda analysis and Master Production Schedule (MPS) planning
