About the role
Mastercard’s Customer Connectivity team is looking for a Principal Software Engineer to lead the Employee Access Management platform. You will act as a technical authority, guiding architecture, design, and delivery while collaborating across product, engineering, and security groups.
Key responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership and hands‑on contribution for a globally‑scalable identity and certificate management platform.
- Lead complex, enterprise‑wide initiatives that span multiple services and programs.
- Analyse, design, develop, and deliver software solutions that meet business and security requirements.
- Define application requirements, enforce standards, and drive best‑practice processes.
- Set priorities, objectives, and deliverables across global technology domains.
- Engage with the broader technical community to anticipate innovation trends and evaluate new solutions.
- Explain technical issues and solution strategies to stakeholders and ensure timely delivery of designs and milestones.
Required profile
- Proven experience designing and developing high‑performance, globally scalable platforms.
- Track record of solving complex technical problems and driving innovation.
- Strong ability to collaborate with architects, product managers, analysts, and engineering teams.
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement and technical mentorship.
