About the role

The Picker is responsible for preparing and verifying items for dispatch in a warehouse environment. This role ensures that orders are accurately assembled, packed safely, and ready for timely shipment.

Key responsibilities

• Check picked items against orders or invoices to confirm correct quantity and item.
• Identify and report any wrong or damaged items.
• Ensure proper packing to minimise damage and maintain quality standards.
• Verify documents such as invoices and labels before dispatch.
• Prepare materials for dispatch on schedule.
• Perform final checks during loading and maintain dispatch records.
• Follow workplace safety rules and operational procedures.
