Outbound Supervisor

About the role

We are seeking an Outbound Supervisor to lead outbound warehouse operations at our Narsapura facility in Bengaluru. The role ensures timely and accurate order fulfillment for B2B customers within Maersk’s contract logistics network.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise order picking, packing, staging and dispatch to meet OTIF targets.
• Validate shipping documentation and ensure compliance with client requirements.
• Coordinate vehicle placement and dispatch planning with transport partners.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy using the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and conduct cycle counts.
• Analyse discrepancies, drive corrective actions and support periodic stock audits.
• Lead, coach and develop warehouse associates, manage shift schedules and monitor KPIs.
• Serve as primary contact for internal stakeholders and customer queries, ensuring SLA adherence.
• Promote safety, quality and continuous improvement initiatives, including Lean projects.

Required profile

• Graduate in any discipline, preferably Supply Chain or Logistics.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in warehouse or contract logistics operations, with hands‑on outbound experience.
• Experience in B2B outbound environments; inbound exposure is a plus.
• Willingness to work in shifts in a fast‑paced setting.
• Preferable experience in the apparel industry.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP.
