About the role
The Onboarding Manager (OBM) will lead the expansion and monetisation of Swiggy’s restaurant supply ecosystem within an assigned city or region. You will be responsible for driving supply growth, securing onboarding and listing fees, and ensuring new partners launch strongly on the platform.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and close supply gaps versus competitors across city zones.
- Ensure Swiggy is the first platform of choice for newly opened or high‑potential restaurants.
- Accelerate go‑live timelines so restaurants are live before competitors.
- Own onboarding revenue targets, including fee realisation and disciplined negotiation.
- Onboard high‑impact restaurants such as popular local brands, premium and niche cuisine outlets.
- Guarantee operational readiness, high image coverage, strong menu quality, and optimal slot coverage.
- Drive early‑stage discount and promotional intensity to boost visibility and trial.
- Track early performance metrics and hand over to Account Management.
- Reactivate churned or inactive restaurants in priority areas.
Required profile
- Proven experience in partner onboarding and supply growth within a marketplace or food‑delivery context.
- Strong track record of meeting revenue targets and negotiating fees.
- Ability to work cross‑functionally with city, regional, and product teams.
- Data‑driven mindset to monitor metrics and implement corrective actions.
