Nurse Assistant – Patient Care Role

About the role

Apollo Hospitals is seeking a dedicated Nurse Assistant to support patient care in a fast‑paced hospital environment. The role involves direct interaction with patients, assisting the nursing team, and ensuring accurate medical documentation.

Key responsibilities

• Record medical history, symptoms, and maintain patient charts.
• Administer medication and prescribed treatments safely.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Perform point‑of‑care tests and basic clinical assessments.
• Monitor vital signs and report changes in patient condition.
• Provide bedside care, education, and emotional support to patients and families.
• Manage inventory of medical supplies and ensure equipment readiness.
• Operate and maintain medical equipment according to protocols.

Required profile

• Graduate in GNM Nursing, BSc Nursing or MSc Nursing with first‑division marks in 10th, 12th and nursing qualification.
• 3 months to 5 years of relevant nursing experience.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle patient interactions with empathy.

• Computer literacy.
