About the role

Mastercard is looking for a visionary Engineering Manager to lead a service group within its Decision Management Platform for fraud detection. The role focuses on delivering low‑latency, high‑volume, highly available software solutions that protect payments worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute engineering strategy aligned with company objectives.
• Lead cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable, high‑quality software on time and within budget.
• Champion best practices such as DevOps, CI/CD, observability, and agile methodologies.
• Mentor and retain high‑performing engineers through career development and performance management.
• Own the end‑to‑end delivery lifecycle, from requirements through release and support.
• Ensure operational readiness, including incident response, monitoring, and service reliability.
• Collaborate with product, operations, and business stakeholders to define scope, priorities, and roadmaps.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading software engineering teams in fast‑paced, high‑scale environments.
• Strong ability to align technical strategy with business goals.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with executives and non‑technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
