Manager Logistics & Warehousing

About the role

The Manager Logistics & Warehousing is responsible for overseeing domestic and international logistics operations to ensure timely, compliant delivery of machines and parts worldwide. This role coordinates transportation, customs documentation, and warehousing activities while meeting specific customer requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute timely delivery of goods and related documents, ensuring accuracy and proper proof‑reading.
• Act as liaison between internal customers and external logistics providers, arranging freight, providing quotes, and communicating protocols.
• Monitor, track, and communicate shipment status for all machine movements and customer orders.
• Select appropriate shipping methods (FCL, LCL, FTL, LTL, air, intermodal, rail, ocean) to balance service and cost.
• Resolve logistics and carrier issues, including pricing, claims, and freight cost optimization.
• Support development of new supply‑chain routes, process improvements, and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Prepare international shipment documentation (commercial invoice, packing slip, fumigation certificate) and ensure import/export compliance.
• Manage customs registration submissions and ongoing compliance activities.
• Maintain accurate trade and traffic records, code and approve freight bills, and manage HSN codes for all parts.
• Coordinate with Logistics Analysts for traffic management, cross‑border movements, and machine delivery planning.
• Participate in proposal development and creation of internal/external logistics procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in logistics, warehousing, or transportation management, preferably in a global environment.
• Strong knowledge of international trade regulations, customs compliance, and documentation requirements.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills to work with internal teams and external partners.
• Detail‑oriented with the ability to solve complex logistics problems quickly.
