Manager - Accounting & Taxation

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Manager – Accounting & Taxation to act as a strategic tax partner for Searce’s leadership in India. The role goes beyond filing returns; you will design tax strategies, ensure flawless compliance, and drive financial impact across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute tax planning and optimization initiatives, including forecasting, estimation and structuring of cross‑border transactions.
• Lead all direct and indirect tax compliance for the India region, file corporate income tax returns and manage annual filings.
• Own tax litigation, assessments and notices; draft appeals and represent Searce before authorities such as CIT(A), DRP and ITAT.
• Oversee transfer pricing matters, prepare TP reports, Form 3CEB and manage inter‑company transactions.
• Conduct research on domestic and international tax laws, FEMA and Companies Act, and advise leadership on regulatory changes.

Required profile

• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate tax considerations into commercial decisions.
• Analytical and proactive mindset, capable of identifying risks and opportunities before they arise.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to act as a trusted advisor to senior management.
• Experience managing complex tax compliance and litigation in the Indian context.
