Maintenance Technician – Daman

About the role

The Maintenance Technician ensures smooth operation of plant machinery, equipment, and utilities. You will respond quickly to breakdowns, carry out preventive maintenance, and keep accurate records to minimise downtime and maximise equipment efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Attend machine breakdowns promptly and perform electrical and mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose faults in machinery, motors, control panels, and utility systems.
• Execute preventive, predictive and corrective maintenance according to schedule.
• Inspect, lubricate and maintain mechanical components such as bearings, belts, chains, pumps, gearboxes and compressors.
• Perform electrical wiring, cable laying, panel maintenance and troubleshoot control circuits.
• Assist with installation, commissioning and relocation of equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, spare‑parts usage records and report recurring issues.
• Follow safety policies, use PPE and keep work areas clean.

Required profile

• Ability to work in shifts and handle emergency breakdowns.
• Strong teamwork and problem‑solving abilities.
• Good record‑keeping and documentation skills.
