Maintenance Officer

About the role

The Maintenance Officer will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of a wide range of industrial equipment at our Surat/Hazira facility. The role involves hands‑on maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination of preventive maintenance activities across multiple machine types.

Key responsibilities

• Perform EOT crane maintenance and resolve any operational issues.
• Configure, troubleshoot and maintain Yaskawa drives.
• Carry out CNC machine and Lincoln controller maintenance.
• Execute basic electrical wiring, fault finding and repair tasks.
• Maintain Fronius and Sigma welding machines.
• Program, troubleshoot and support Siemens and Mitsubishi PLCs.
• Configure and troubleshoot servo motors and drives.
• Plan and execute preventive maintenance schedules, complete reports and checklists.
• Allocate maintenance shift work, manage manpower and ensure timely report entry.
• Procure machine spares and coordinate with suppliers for spare item maintenance.

Required profile

• Diploma in Power Electronics or related field.
• 5 to 8 years of hands‑on maintenance experience in an industrial setting.
• Proven ability to manage preventive maintenance programs and shift allocations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
