Loss Prevention Officer

About the role

The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for safeguarding the property, guests, and employees by monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring a safe environment.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the property and lock entrances when required.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms and fire life‑safety systems.
• Conduct daily hazard inspections and respond to accidents, providing first aid/CPR or contacting EMS.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies and defuse disturbances.
• Prepare incident reports, shift summaries and maintain confidentiality of all security documentation.
• Escort unwelcome persons, investigate incidents, gather evidence and interview relevant parties.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 kg unaided.
• Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
• Willingness to comply with company policies, safety training and licensing requirements.
