About the role
The Loss Prevention Officer is responsible for safeguarding the property, guests, and employees by monitoring security systems, responding to incidents, and ensuring a safe environment.
Key responsibilities
- Patrol all areas of the property and lock entrances when required.
- Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarm, duress alarms and fire life‑safety systems.
- Conduct daily hazard inspections and respond to accidents, providing first aid/CPR or contacting EMS.
- Assist guests and employees during emergencies and defuse disturbances.
- Prepare incident reports, shift summaries and maintain confidentiality of all security documentation.
- Escort unwelcome persons, investigate incidents, gather evidence and interview relevant parties.
Required profile
- Ability to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and lift up to 50 kg unaided.
- Clear communication skills and professional appearance.
- Willingness to comply with company policies, safety training and licensing requirements.
Required skills
