Loss Prevention Associate

About the role

The Loss Prevention Associate ensures the safety of guests, employees, and assets at The Westin Mumbai Garden City. Working on a full‑time basis, you will patrol the property, monitor security systems, and respond swiftly to incidents.

Key responsibilities

• Patrol all areas of the hotel and lock property entrances when required.
• Monitor CCTV, perimeter alarms, duress alarms, and fire‑life safety systems.
• Conduct daily physical hazard inspections and respond to accidents, providing first aid/CPR or contacting EMS.
• Assist guests and employees during emergencies, defuse disturbances, and escort unwelcome persons.
• Complete incident reports, shift summaries, and daily activity logs while maintaining confidentiality.
• Investigate incidents, gather evidence, and conduct interviews with relevant parties.
• Follow all company policies, report unsafe conditions, and maintain a professional uniform appearance.

Required profile

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods and lift up to 50 lb unassisted.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to read and verify information in various formats.
• Excellent communication skills and a professional demeanor when interacting with guests and staff.
• Willingness to comply with safety training, certifications, and any applicable licensing requirements.
