Learning and Development Manager

About the role

The Learning and Development Manager will design, deliver and continuously improve training programmes that align with business objectives and support employee growth across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Research and develop training content that matches organisational goals and business priorities.
• Conduct needs analyses, create training plans and ensure employees acquire required competencies.
• Review and update course materials to reflect current processes, procedures and systems.
• Select appropriate training methods (e‑learning, classroom, coaching) based on content and audience.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to schedule and deliver training across business units.
• Collect feedback, measure training effectiveness and implement improvements.
• Source and manage external vendors and partners for specialised learning solutions.
• Maintain training budgets and identify cost‑effective solutions.
• Design and maintain core curricula such as orientation and values programmes.
• Track training data, ensure compliance training completion and achieve 100% orientation completion.
• Develop and drive employee engagement activities nationwide.
• Identify tools and technologies to automate learning processes and support culture change.

Required profile

• Proven experience in designing and delivering learning programmes.
• Ability to conduct organisational needs analysis and translate findings into actionable training plans.
• Strong project‑management skills with a focus on stakeholder coordination.
• Experience managing training budgets and external learning partners.
• Track record of measuring training impact and driving continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills across HR and business functions.
