Junior SEO Executive

About the role

AP Guru, a leading EdTech platform, is seeking a Junior SEO Executive to help grow its organic traffic. You will work closely with the marketing team to optimise content, improve search visibility and support the company’s digital growth.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research for educational programmes, courses and exam‑preparation content.
• Optimise website pages, blogs, landing pages and resources for search engines.
• Enhance on‑page SEO elements such as titles, meta descriptions, headings, URLs, internal links and images.
• Perform routine technical SEO audits and recommend improvements.
• Monitor performance using Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
• Create SEO‑focused content briefs to support planning.
• Build and maintain internal linking structures.
• Assist with backlink outreach and off‑page SEO activities.
• Track keyword rankings, organic traffic and conversion metrics.
• Prepare weekly and monthly SEO performance reports.
• Stay updated on SEO trends, algorithm changes and best practices.

Required profile

• 0–2 years of experience in SEO, digital marketing, internships, freelance or personal projects.
• Basic understanding of SEO principles.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Good analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Detail‑oriented, proactive and eager to learn.

Required skills

• Keyword research tools: Ahrefs, SEMrush, Ubersuggest, Google Keyword Planner.
• Google Analytics (GA4) and Google Search Console.
• WordPress or similar CMS.
• Basic HTML and CSS.
• Technical SEO tools such as Screaming Frog.
• Knowledge of schema markup and structured data.
• Familiarity with AI‑driven search, AEO or GEO concepts.
