Junior Brand Designer

About the role

Plum is looking for a Junior Brand Designer to help shape the visual voice of its employee insurance and health benefits platform. You will work closely with the marketing team to create compelling visual narratives that simplify complex topics such as health insurance and workplace benefits.

Key responsibilities

• Build, evolve, and maintain Plum’s visual and brand design system across product and marketing touchpoints.
• Create visually‑driven narratives for website, landing pages, digital campaigns, reports, social content, collaterals, emails, and internal tools.
• Collaborate with marketers, writers, product teams, and other designers to craft delightful customer experiences.
• Translate abstract ideas into strong creative directions and strategic visual stories.
• Set the visual tone for high‑impact campaigns, activations, and launches.
• Measure design effectiveness and iterate based on data, feedback, and insights.
• Mentor and lead a small team of communication designers, fostering growth and confidence.
• Establish workflows, creative rituals, and systems to scale design output while maintaining quality.

Required profile

• 1‑3 years of experience in communication or visual design, preferably in fast‑paced environments such as startups, agencies, or product‑first brands.
• Strong portfolio showcasing brand, communication, campaign, or product design work.
• Deep expertise in visual storytelling and graphic design.
