IT Support Specialist (Onsite & Remote)

About the role

The IT Support Specialist will deliver high‑quality IT services across a global organization, ensuring end‑users receive prompt onsite, desk‑side and remote assistance. The role supports both corporate and factory environments, contributing to Atlas Copco’s digital transformation.

Key responsibilities

• Provide full onsite/desk‑side and remote support to end users.
• Image, deploy, upgrade, refresh PCs and manage IT assets via ServiceNow.
• Capture and process demand requests from business units and coordinate with stakeholders.
• Participate in small‑to‑medium IT infrastructure projects and global roll‑outs.
• Advise users on best practices and ensure compliance with ITIL standards.
• Support PLM tools (Enovia, Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Vault, Windchill) and server, backup, and data‑center infrastructure.
• Provide basic to intermediate LAN/WAN, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and SD‑WAN (VeloCloud) support.
• Coordinate with ISP vendors, OEMs and internal teams for network and hardware issue resolution.
• Maintain high availability of shop‑floor systems and collaborate with OT teams.
• Set up audio‑video equipment, meeting rooms and conferencing tools.
• Support Microsoft 365 services, handling user issues and access requests.

Required profile

• University degree or equivalent.
• Extensive experience delivering IT support services.
• Proven ability to work across cultures and regions.
• Familiarity with ITIL, PMI and SDLC methodologies.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• ITIL Foundation certification (beneficial) and CCNA certification (beneficial).
