About the role
UPS is seeking an Intermediate Applications Developer to join its Technology Development Center in Chennai. The role involves supporting the full systems life‑cycle, from analysis and design through coding, testing and implementation, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams in an Agile/SAFe environment.
Key responsibilities
- Generate and maintain application documentation.
- Participate in systems analysis and design activities.
- Design, develop, and test moderately complex applications.
- Contribute to integration builds and ongoing maintenance.
- Provide production support and assist with DevOps tasks.
- Monitor emerging technologies and products to recommend improvements.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics or a related field.
- Ability to work within planned durations and meet established deadlines.
- Strong collaboration and communication skills within team environments.
