In-Room Dining Order Taker

About the role

The In‑Room Dining Order Taker is responsible for delivering food and beverage orders to guests in a hotel setting. You will ensure a high level of service, accuracy, and guest satisfaction throughout each shift.

Key responsibilities

• Take guest orders for food and alcoholic beverages and record them in the MICROS system.
• Serve food courses and drinks, set tables according to event type and service standards.
• Communicate menu questions, wait times, and special dietary requirements with the kitchen.
• Check in with guests to confirm satisfaction after each course.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and complete closing duties such as restocking and turning off lights.
• Present accurate checks and process payments.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related food‑and‑beverage service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
