About the role

The Human Resources Manager will deliver first‑class employee relations services for a Hilton hotel, ensuring a positive staff experience while supporting HR strategy and succession planning.

Key responsibilities

• Provide and deliver high‑quality employee relations services across the hotel.
• Assist the HR Director with overall HR strategy.
• Manage succession planning with senior managers during bi‑annual appraisals.
• Handle confidential employee relations issues, including disciplinaries, grievances, and capability matters.
• Support managers to drive team success.
• Oversee recruitment, selection and immigration checks.
• Coordinate departmental training and ensure compliance with security, fire and health‑safety legislation.
• Prepare management reports for head office and regional teams.
• Control costs and help meet financial targets.
• Administer pay reviews, absence monitoring and wage queries in line with company guidelines.
• Promote hospitality careers through partnerships with local organisations and schools.
• Resolve queries from team members and management.

Required profile

• Previous HR managerial experience.
• CIPD qualification.
• Positive attitude and strong communication skills.
• Commitment to high‑level internal and external customer service.
• Professional grooming standards.
• Flexibility to adapt to varied work situations.
• Ability to work under pressure, independently or within a team.
