Hotel Waiter – Jaipur

About the role

The Hotel Waiter will ensure a flawless dining experience for guests at a hotel in Jaipur. You will greet customers, take orders accurately, serve meals promptly and handle payments while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, present menus, explain daily specials and offer recommendations.
• Take food and drink orders and relay them to the kitchen or bar using verbal communication or POS systems.
• Serve meals and beverages, verify order accuracy and check on diners to ensure satisfaction.
• Pre‑bus and clear tables, wipe down surfaces and reset with clean linens and silverware.
• Prepare itemised checks, process cash, card or digital payments and provide receipts.
• Stock service stations, roll silverware and review reservations at the start of shifts.
• Follow health and food‑safety standards, clean spills and assist with end‑of‑shift cleaning.

Required profile

• Clear, polite verbal communication with guests and team members.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk and carry trays for long periods.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized while handling multiple tables.
• Calm problem‑solving attitude when addressing guest concerns.

Required skills

• POS system operation.
