Guest Service Associate – Food & Beverage

About the role

As a Guest Service Associate in our Food & Beverage team, you will be the face of the restaurant, welcoming guests, recommending menu items, and ensuring each dining experience meets our high standards. You will work closely with the kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to deliver memorable meals and exceptional service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests, present menus, and suggest food and drink options.
• Maintain presentation standards for dishes and ensure timely service.
• Monitor and replenish supplies, minimise waste, and report any safety or equipment issues.
• Follow health, safety, and hygiene regulations, wearing required protective equipment.
• Assist with cleaning, washing up, and occasional kitchen duties as needed.
• Address guest queries and provide helpful advice.
• Wear the uniform with pride and perform ad‑hoc tasks to support the team.

Required profile

• Physical ability to lift, push or pull objects up to 50 lb (23 kg), including bending and kneeling.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for reading menus, writing orders, and handling simple calculations.
• Flexibility to work night, weekend and holiday shifts.
• Compliance with local food‑handling laws, age requirements for alcohol service, and fluency in the local language.
• Strong communication skills, warm and welcoming demeanor.
