Group Financial Controller

About the role

The Group Financial Controller will lead the finance function for a global IT services organization, ensuring the health of the company’s financials, robust controls, and accurate reporting. You will partner with business leaders to drive profitability, support strategic decisions, and maintain compliance across multiple accounting standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and annual close processes and oversee group financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Ind AS, IFRS and US GAAP, and manage statutory, tax and regulatory audits.
• Establish and maintain internal controls, governance frameworks and risk mitigation measures.
• Partner with business units on budgeting, forecasting, pricing, deal structuring and profitability analysis.
• Oversee revenue recognition for T&M, Fixed‑Price and Managed Services models, and drive margin improvement initiatives.
• Monitor cash flow, receivables, payables and working‑capital cycles, ensuring effective billing and collections.
• Lead, mentor and develop finance and accounting teams while driving process automation.

Required profile

• CA, CPA or MBA (Finance) preferred.
• 12+ years of finance experience, with at least 3–5 years in a leadership role.
• Prior experience in an IT services or technology services organization.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder‑management capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS and US GAAP accounting standards.
• Expertise in financial reporting, controllership and compliance.
