Functional Safety Expert – ADAS/AD Systems

About the role

Bosch Global Software Technologies Private Limited is seeking a Functional Safety Expert to lead functional safety development for ADAS/AD systems. The role focuses on safety management, analysis, and creation of safety work products for ASIL B and higher.

Key responsibilities

• Lead functional safety development for XC‑AS ADAS/AD projects, including safety management and analysis.
• Set up Design Integrity Assurance (DIA) and create system safety work products for ASIL B+.
• Interface with OEMs, track safety plans, and conduct safety discussions with customers and internal stakeholders.
• Support establishment of safety concepts, FMEDA, hardware and software safety requirements, and safety assessments.
• Conduct safety audits and develop HARA, system, hardware, and software safety concepts.
• Review design and development artefacts to identify safety risks and define mitigation plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (B.E.).
• 8–12 years of experience in functional safety for automotive ADAS/AD systems.
• Proven experience with safety standards and ASIL classification.
• Ability to communicate with OEMs and internal teams.
