Frontend Developer

About the role

Emerson is looking for an experienced Frontend Developer to design, build, and maintain web‑based applications. You will work closely with UX designers, product owners, and other engineers to deliver high‑quality, responsive user interfaces.

Key responsibilities

• Capture and develop software requirements.
• Build, deploy, and test web‑based software and applications.
• Prepare software design and architecture for assigned projects.
• Develop high‑level and low‑level designs.
• Collaborate with UX designers for frontend implementation.
• Participate in code reviews and project reviews.
• Coordinate with developers, testers, and product owners.
• Continuously improve quality‑driven software techniques and processes.

Required profile

• B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, or Electronics.
• 5–8 years of frontend development experience.
• Strong teamwork, analytical thinking, and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to ask the right questions, evaluate options, and manage risks.

Required skills

• HTML5, CSS, Bootstrap.
• Vue.js, JavaScript, TypeScript.
• React.js or other modern frameworks.
• CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Static/dynamic code analysis tools (e.g., SonarCloud).
• Unit testing frameworks such as Jest or xUnit.
• .NET Core, C#, Web API (preferred).
• Microservices architecture, SQL databases, stored procedures.
• Basic cyber‑security knowledge.
• Scrum/Agile methodology.
