Food & Beverage Server – Luxury Hotel

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and attentive Food & Beverage Server to join our team at a luxury hotel in Mumbai. You will be responsible for delivering high‑quality food and beverage service to guests, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests according to service standards.
• Set tables and arrange settings based on the type of event.
• Answer guest questions about menu selections and communicate special dietary requirements to the kitchen.
• Record orders in the MICROS POS system and present accurate checks for payment.
• Check in with guests throughout the service to ensure satisfaction.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware and complete closing duties such as restocking and turning off lights.
• Follow all company safety, security and uniform policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• At least one year of food‑and‑beverage service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 25 lb unaided and up to 50 lb with assistance.
• Willingness to stand, walk and move for extended periods.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale system.
