Finance Controller

About the role

The Finance Controller will act as the strategic financial leader for the Jaipur Marriott Hotel, driving financial planning, analysis and control to support the property’s business objectives. Reporting to senior management, the role ensures accurate accounting, budgeting and profitability monitoring while safeguarding assets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain annual budgets, forecasts and variance analyses.
• Analyze financial data, market trends and sales performance to guide strategic decisions.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities and new business prospects to improve profit margins.
• Ensure robust accounting controls and compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
• Lead and mentor the accounting team, assigning clear responsibilities and monitoring performance.
• Prepare timely financial reports for senior management and brand stakeholders.

Required profile

• 4‑year bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, or a master’s degree in the same discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably within hospitality or a similar service industry.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and forecast financial outcomes.
• Excellent communication skills to convey financial insights to non‑financial stakeholders.
