F&B Associate

About the role

The F&B Associate will deliver high‑quality food and beverage service to guests at The St. Regis Mumbai. You will ensure seamless dining experiences by setting tables, taking orders, and coordinating with the kitchen while maintaining the highest standards of hospitality.

Key responsibilities

• Serve food courses and alcoholic beverages to guests according to service standards.
• Set tables and arrange settings based on the type of event.
• Answer guest questions about menu selections and communicate special dietary requirements to the kitchen.
• Record orders in the MICROS POS system and present accurate checks for payment.
• Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the service and address any issues promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glassware, and complete closing duties such as restocking and turning off lights.
• Follow all company safety, security, and uniform policies.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant food‑and‑beverage service experience.
• No supervisory experience required.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lb unassisted.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MICROS point‑of‑sale (POS) system.
