Family Law Advocate – Bengaluru

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Family Law Advocate to join our litigation team in Bengaluru. The successful candidate will represent clients in the Karnataka High Court and District Courts, handling a broad spectrum of family and civil matters.

Key responsibilities

• Represent clients in family law cases, including domestic violence complaints, divorce, maintenance, and custody petitions.
• Draft and file writ petitions, appeals, revision and transfer petitions, complaints, affidavits, civil suits, written statements, and other pleadings.
• Conduct legal research using platforms such as Manupatra and SCC Online.
• Perform due diligence, draft, and vet contracts and legal agreements.
• Maintain accurate case files and ensure compliance with court procedures.

Required profile

• LLB (or equivalent) with an LLM degree.
• 2‑5 years of litigation experience in Bengaluru, specifically in family and civil law.
• Strong command of English and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Publications in legal journals or websites are a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with legal research tools: Manupatra, SCC Online.
