Fabrication Fitter

About the role

Siemens Mobility is seeking a Fabrication Fitter to join its manufacturing team in Shendra, Aurangabad. You will work on the assembly and adjustment of running‑gear components for rail vehicles, ensuring high‑quality workmanship in a dynamic, safety‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and adjust running‑gear components or frames according to drawings, bill of materials and production plans.
• Inspect size accuracy using drawing, mechanical processing and measurement plans, and perform corrective actions as needed.
• Perform gas cutting, grinding, and cold or flame straightening of steel components.
• Execute tack‑welding of components after receiving required training and qualification.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and Standard Production System (SPS) activities.
• Travel to other Siemens locations within India and abroad when required.

Required profile

• Experience in heavy fabrication preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and bills of materials.
• Willingness to follow detailed work instructions and safety procedures.
• Readiness to undergo training for welding and other specialized tasks.
