Experienced Part-Time Pharmacist (Contract)

About the Position

Join the prestigious Reserve Bank of India (RBI) in Guwahati as a Part-Time Pharmacist. This contract-based role offers a unique opportunity to serve within a highly respected national institution, providing essential pharmaceutical services at our Main Office and Officer’s Colony.

Main Missions

• Manage and oversee pharmaceutical supplies and medications within the designated RBI premises.
• Ensure the accurate dispensing of medicines in accordance with safety protocols and pharmacy standards.
• Maintain organized records of inventory and pharmaceutical stock.
• Provide professional pharmaceutical guidance and support to staff and residents.
• Adhere to all regulatory requirements and institutional guidelines regarding health and safety.

Candidate Profile

• Must hold a minimum of a D.Pharm or B.Pharm degree.
• Must be officially registered under the Pharmacy Act 1948.
• Minimum of two (2) years of professional experience as a pharmacist.
• Prior experience in Public Sector Banks (PSBs), Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs), or Government organizations is highly preferred.
• Ability to pass a rigorous selection process including interviews, medical examination, and document verification.

Required Skills

• Expertise in pharmaceutical dispensing and medication management.
• Strong knowledge of the Pharmacy Act 1948 and regulatory compliance.
• Proficiency in basic computer applications for record-keeping.
• High level of professional integrity and attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Remuneration & Schedule

• Competitive hourly rate: Rs. 400 per hour.
• Flexible part-time schedule: Up to 5 hours per day and 30 hours per week.
• Contract duration: Maximum of 240 days.
