Duty Manager – Security

About the role

The Duty Manager – Security will lead the security and vigilance function at our airport operations, fostering a culture of safety and proactive risk management. Reporting to the Manager Security & Vigilance, you will ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate incident response, and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Promote a security‑focused culture through effective leadership and communication.
• Distribute regulatory updates, orders, and circulars related to security and vigilance.
• Act as the primary conduit for security issues, informing management and stakeholders.
• Monitor and follow up on operational incidents, liaise with external agencies for latest information.
• Analyze internal risk factors, prepare action plans, and report findings.
• Prepare duty rosters, assign resources, and conduct periodic audits.
• Provide input to recruitment, identify fraud/theft vulnerabilities, and implement preventive measures.
• Investigate and resolve cases of fraud, theft, and pilferage.
• Serve as acting Manager Security & Vigilance during absences and deliver incident reports to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree or equivalent from a recognized university.
• 5‑6 years of experience in civil aviation security and vigilance.
• Proven ability to prepare security and investigation reports.
• Strong prioritisation and decision‑making skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
