DevOps Lead / Architect – Java & Cloud

About the role

Coforge is looking for a seasoned DevOps Lead/Architect to design, build, and maintain scalable Java‑based applications using modern DevOps practices. The role focuses on automation, continuous delivery, and cloud‑native deployments for micro‑service architectures.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, GitHub Actions or GitLab CI.
• Automate build, deployment, and release processes for Java micro‑services.
• Containerize applications and orchestrate them using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Monitor application performance and system health with logging and monitoring tools.
• Collaborate with development, QA, and operations teams to ensure smooth delivery.
• Manage infrastructure and configurations as code (IaC).
• Troubleshoot production issues and perform root‑cause analysis.
• Ensure security, scalability, and high availability of applications.
• Document processes, deployment steps, and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud platforms.
• Strong hands‑on experience with Java, Spring, Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Proven ability to work in Agile environments.
