DevOps Engineer – AWS, Docker, Kubernetes

About the role

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and maintain cloud‑native infrastructure on AWS. The role focuses on automating deployments, managing containerized workloads with Docker and Kubernetes, and ensuring reliable, secure operations for our applications.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain AWS services such as EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, and CloudWatch.
• Build, version, and deploy Docker images and run container workloads.
• Support application deployment and scaling on Kubernetes (EKS preferred).
• Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
• Provision infrastructure with Terraform or CloudFormation (basic to intermediate).
• Monitor system health and logs using CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana.
• Assist in troubleshooting incidents in production and staging environments.
• Implement security best practices, including IAM roles, security groups, and secrets management.
• Integrate security checks into pipelines (DevSecOps) and perform basic vulnerability scanning.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth release cycles.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in DevOps, Cloud, or Site Reliability Engineering.
• AWS certification (Cloud Practitioner or Solutions Architect Associate) is preferred.
• Strong troubleshooting mindset and good communication skills.
• Eagerness to learn and take ownership of infrastructure tasks.

Required skills

• AWS core services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, RDS, CloudWatch).
• Docker containerization.
• Kubernetes concepts and experience with EKS.
• Linux system administration and Bash scripting.
• Version control with Git.
• Infrastructure as Code: Terraform or CloudFormation.
• CI/CD tools: GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins.
• Monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana.
• Basic security practices: IAM roles, security groups, secrets management.
• Optional: Helm, AWS ECS/Fargate, ArgoCD/Flux, WAF, ALB, autoscaling.
