Consultant – Indirect Tax & SAP Solutions (Mumbai)

About the role

EY is seeking a Consultant to join its National Indirect Tax – Core team in Mumbai. The role focuses on designing, configuring and implementing SAP solutions that integrate with EY’s tax tools, helping clients meet complex tax compliance requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Design, customize and configure SAP solutions (ECC, HANA, RISE) to integrate with EY tax platforms.
• Develop Functional Requirements Documents and map future‑state business processes, identifying system gaps.
• Perform configuration, parameter setup, unit and regression testing, and create test scripts for quality assurance.
• Lead discovery workshops across SAP SD, FI and MM modules to define project scope and success criteria.
• Participate in EY tax tool implementation projects, enhancing system functionality and best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Computer Applications, Computer Science or related field (e.g., B.Com, BCA, B.Tech, MCA).
• Minimum 4 years product management experience, 3 years business analysis experience and 6 years project management experience.
• Strong collaborative mindset and ability to work across multiple client departments.
