Cluster Incharge – Solar Operations & Maintenance

About the role

The Cluster Incharge will lead the Operations & Maintenance (O&M) activities for a group of solar power sites, ensuring optimal performance, compliance with tender specifications, and achievement of energy generation guarantees.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with internal departments, site technicians, vendors, and district‑level MSEDCL officials.
• Anticipate and resolve interface issues proactively.
• Ensure O&M work follows the EESL tender requirements.
• Conduct monthly site visits to verify the effectiveness of O&M actions.
• Prepare and submit periodic reports to EESL officials and headquarters in Ahmedabad.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory, inverter maintenance, and replenishment of critical components.
• Liaise with techno‑commercial and logistics teams for material movement.
• Oversee Joint Measurement Reports (JMR) and expedite fault resolution with OEMs and subcontractors.
• Collaborate closely with subcontractor technical teams to maximize site incentives.

Required profile

• 7‑8 years of experience in solar power plant operation and maintenance.
• B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.
• MBS preferred.
