About the role

The Circle Head – Retail Gold Loan leads the strategy, growth, profitability and operational governance for gold loan products across the assigned zone. This senior position is responsible for achieving asset‑under‑management, disbursement, P&L, branch expansion and compliance targets through effective leadership of regional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Drive execution of business strategy, growth and profitability for gold loan portfolio across the circle.
• Achieve targets for AUM, loan disbursement, P&L, branch expansion and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and mentor multiple regional heads and large distributed branch teams.
• Define business plans, expansion roadmap, manpower structure and productivity benchmarks aligned with national strategy.
• Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory guidelines and internal policies.
• Monitor portfolio performance and market developments to mitigate risk.

Required profile

• Proven senior leadership experience in retail gold loan or similar NBFC business.
• Demonstrated track record of delivering growth, profitability and operational excellence.
• Strong capability to manage large, geographically dispersed teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management with both internal functions and regional partners.
• Deep understanding of regulatory environment governing gold loan products.
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret portfolio and market data.
