Business Banking Working Capital Relationship Manager

About the role

The Business Banking Working Capital Relationship Manager is responsible for acquiring new asset relationships and managing a portfolio of 30‑40 BBG clients. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality service to high‑net‑worth customers, driving business development, and ensuring profitable growth of the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads and collaborate with branches to convert prospects using the CRM system.
• Scope the market, identify high‑potential customers, and develop product penetration strategies.
• Maintain regular client calls, update CRM records, and assign tasks to internal teams.
• Conduct monthly reviews with product groups and supervisors to track plan vs. achievement.
• Improve portfolio yield and return on capital through effective risk and yield management.
• Handle documentation pre‑ and post‑disbursement, including legal, valuation, and deferral processes.
• Cross‑sell liabilities, corporate salary accounts, and other asset products to existing relationships.
• Manage day‑to‑day client servicing such as cheque referrals, cash transactions, trade and FX queries, and issuance of cheque books.
• Coordinate with credit, operations, and trade desks for approvals, disbursements, and trade finance activities.
