Bending Machine Operator – Ermak & Hindustan Machine

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Bending Machine Operator to run CNC/NC press brake machines, including Ermak and Hindustan Hydraulics equipment. The role involves turning engineering drawings into high‑quality bent sheet metal components while maintaining safety and efficiency on the shop floor.

Key responsibilities

• Operate CNC/NC bending machines such as Ermak and Hindustan Hydraulics press brakes.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and bending dimensions.
• Set up tools, punches, and dies according to job specifications.
• Perform sheet‑metal bending operations on mild steel, stainless steel, and aluminium with precision.
• Measure angles, dimensions, and finished parts using appropriate instruments.
• Carry out daily machine safety checks, routine maintenance, and 5S activities.
• Coordinate with production and quality teams to meet production targets.

Required profile

• Experience operating CNC/NC bending machines.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Attention to detail and commitment to product quality.
• Understanding of safety procedures and maintenance routines.

Required skills

• Operation of Ermak press brake machines.
• Operation of Hindustan Hydraulics press brake machines.
• Sheet‑metal bending for mild steel (MS), stainless steel (SS), and aluminium.
• Tool, punch, and die setup.
• Use of measuring instruments for angle and dimension verification.
• Knowledge of bend allowance calculations.
• Setting machine parameters for accurate bends.
