Bank Teller – Customer Service & Transactions

About the role

IDFC FIRST Bank is looking for a motivated Teller to join its Ratlam branch. You will be the first point of contact for customers, handling daily cash transactions and delivering excellent service.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly, professional manner.
• Process deposits, withdrawals, payments and other banking transactions.
• Balance cash drawers and maintain accurate transaction records.
• Promote bank products and services to customers.
• Resolve customer inquiries and complaints promptly.
• Follow all bank policies, procedures and security guidelines.
• Collaborate with team members to meet branch targets.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in customer service or cash handling preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment.
• Basic knowledge of banking products and services.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to work full‑time, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to undergo background and credit checks.
• Capable of lifting up to 25 pounds.
