Associate/Senior Associate – Renewable Energy Engineer (India)

About the role

Pwc is hiring Associate and Senior Associate Renewable Energy Engineers to support the implementation of government‑backed solar schemes across Vijayawada, Visakhapatnam and Tirupati. The role involves field‑level monitoring, data management and coordination with utilities, vendors and local stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor PMSGMBY and PM‑KUSUM scheme implementation at the field level.
• Track applications, approvals, installations, commissioning, inspections, net‑metering and subsidy processes.
• Support vendor performance, quality assurance and compliance activities.
• Maintain MIS data, field records and dashboards for accurate reporting.
• Manage grievance tracking and facilitate district/circle‑level review meetings.
• Assist with outreach, capacity‑building initiatives and stakeholder engagement.
• Provide inputs for reports, dashboards and analytical reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in renewable energy projects, preferably supporting utilities or RE agencies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• In‑depth knowledge of India’s renewable energy sector and government schemes.
• Experience with DISCOM processes and multi‑stakeholder coordination.
• Basic technical understanding of solar PV systems.
• Strong execution monitoring and data‑reporting capabilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Excel for data analysis and documentation.
• Technical familiarity with solar PV system components.
