Assistant Manager - MBBS Doctor

About the role

The Assistant Manager – MBBS Doctor will oversee medical services at New Delhi Airport, ensuring compliance with DGCA regulations and providing emergency medical support to passengers and staff. This role combines clinical duties, regulatory documentation, and inventory management in a fast‑paced, shift‑based environment.

Key responsibilities

• Manage breath‑alcohol and psychoactive substance testing according to DGCA guidelines.
• Prepare, certify, and maintain onboard First Aid, Medical, Universal Precaution kits and AEDs.
• Conduct pre‑employment and renewal medical examinations for cabin crew and ground staff.
• Oversee OPD services, clinical examinations, fitness assessments and issue medical opinions.
• Respond to passenger medical calls, handle emergencies, and determine fitness to fly.
• Process MEDIF/Stretcher case clearances and coordinate hospital visits for on‑duty accident victims.
• Maintain calibration of alcohol testing instruments and manage medical inventory.
• Perform medical administrative tasks, including documentation, video footage retrieval, and regulatory reporting.
• Deliver First Aid training sessions as required.
• Execute additional duties assigned by the Head of Medical Services.

Required profile

• MBBS degree.
• Class II Medical Examiner certification.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
• Willingness to work in rotating shifts.
