About the role
The Assistant Manager Front Office supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing all front‑office operations at The St. Regis Mumbai. This full‑time, onsite position ensures smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, high guest satisfaction, and optimal financial performance of the department.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coach front‑desk, bell, door, and switchboard staff on a daily basis.
- Manage day‑to‑day front‑office operations, ensuring standards and guest expectations are met.
- Handle guest complaints, resolve disputes, and implement corrective actions based on feedback.
- Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to develop and monitor performance goals.
- Recognize and reward employee achievements across all shifts.
- Maintain open, collaborative relationships with team members and promote a culture of trust and respect.
- Ensure exceptional customer service by modeling hospitality best practices.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of guest‑services or front‑desk experience, **or** a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on honesty, integrity, and leadership by example.
- Ability to supervise staff, manage daily operations, and step in for employees when needed.
- Commitment to continuous improvement and guest‑satisfaction initiatives.
