Area Head – Gold Loans (Rajkot)

About the role

The Area Head – Gold Loans will lead the gold loan franchise for the assigned region, driving growth, profitability and portfolio quality while ensuring strict regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Drive strategy execution, growth, profitability, and portfolio quality for gold loans across the assigned area.
• Achieve targets for assets under management, loan disbursements, P&L, branch expansion and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and mentor multiple branch heads and distributed branch teams, ensuring consistent performance.
• Define business plans, manpower structure and productivity benchmarks aligned with national strategy.
• Build and maintain relationships with enabling functions and regional stakeholders.
• Monitor portfolio performance and market updates, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure strict adherence to all regulatory guidelines and internal policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading gold loan or similar secured lending businesses.
• Strong track record of achieving growth, profitability and compliance targets.
• Ability to manage large, geographically dispersed teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
• Deep understanding of NBFC regulatory environment.
