Application Support Engineer – GDD/PH

About the role

We are looking for an Application Support Engineer to join our GDD/PH Operational EHS Support Services team in Hyderabad. You will be responsible for ensuring stable operation of critical systems, providing incident and release support, and collaborating with cross‑regional stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Provide Level 2/3 incident support, troubleshooting, and root‑cause analysis for production applications.
• Manage deployment and release activities using Azure DevOps, including pull‑request reviews and change tracking.
• Coordinate with product, development, and infrastructure teams to resolve issues and implement enhancements.
• Utilize ServiceNow and ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management.
• Work with external support providers and monitor system performance using logging and monitoring tools.

Required profile

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to work under pressure.
• Excellent communication in English; German is a plus.
• Self‑starter mindset with a continuous learning attitude.
• Experience in an agile, DevOps‑oriented environment.
• Background in computer science, IT or equivalent practical experience.
